Solution-focused therapy/counseling, also known as solution-focused brief therapy (SFT), is a psychotherapeutic approach based on developing solutions rather than solving problems. While solution-focused counselling acknowledges present problems and past causes, it primarily explores the individual's present resources and future hopes. This can help you to look forward and utilise your own strengths to achieve your goals.

Solution-focused counselling seeks to strengthen the client's resources and skills. Together with you, I would like to work out possible solutions to your current problem without focussing on the cause of the problem.

I like to call this “mental hygiene”. Through regular mental hygiene, we can develop measures that protect our mental health. This also includes getting to know lifestyle habits and behavior that help us deal with stress, for example, as well as incorporating care measures for the soul into our everyday lives.
